For my capstone, I simply wanted to get more practice with animation. Although I'm probably more of a generalist and am interested in trying many different things in art, I thought this would be a good opportunity to get more experience with animation. I hadn't done dialogue animation or much traditional animation prior to this semester, so this was more of a learning experience for me. I wanted to do 2D over 3D because I find it easier to understand and practice the fundamentals of animation through individual drawings. I also chose to do it on paper because I enjoy the experience of drawing traditionally and I like flipping the pages (it makes me feel cool :D ).
